The main Irrigation Pumping Station (MIPS) was constructed by SAMCRETE Co. and provided with Electromechanical Works by ICAT on behalf of the Construction Authority for Potable & Waste Water (CAPW), to receive the Treated Sewage Water from the existing and future wastewater treatment plants within the area of "NEW CAIRO", then pumped to different areas for Irrigation purpose or disposal through a number of Auxiliary Pumping Stations constructed in Phases.
The present required work will contain the following main construction and facilities:

• The Main Reception Basin
• The Auxiliary Pumping Stations
• Interconnecting Pipe Work
• Power Supply
• Ancillary Systems
